Description
This combination medication is used to prevent or treat low blood calcium levels in people who do not get enough calcium from their diets. Calcitriol administration enhances calcium absorption, reduces serum alkaline phosphatase levels, and may reduce elevated parathyroid hormone levels and the histological manifestations of osteitis fibrosa cystic (a skeletal disorder caused by hyperparathyroidism) and defective mineralization.

- CALCITOIL 0.25 mcg
- ZINC SULPHATE 7.5 mg
- MAHNESIUM 50 mg SOFTGEL CAP

Side Effects

Tell your doctor right away if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, unusual weight loss, mental/mood changes, signs of kidney problems (such as change in the amount of urine), bone/muscle pain, headache, increased thirst, increased urination, weakness, tiredness, fast/pounding heartbeat.
