ANGICEPT SYRUP

Description

Angicept Syrup is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms caused by seasonal allergies, food or blood such as watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or itching eyes or nose. It works by blocking natural substances like serotonin and histamine that your body makes during an allergic reaction. It also treats mild, uncomplicated hives.

• CYPROHEPTADINE HYDROCLORIDE 2 mg
• TRICHOLINE CITRATE 275mg SYP

Angicept Syrup Side-effects

This medicine is not prescribed for people who have an allergic reaction to it, women who are breastfeeding, a newborn baby or premature infant, an elderly person, those who have narrow-angle glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, a peptic ulcer or bladder, stomach, or bowel blockage. If you are taking or have taken within the last 14 days a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, do not take this medicine. Keep your doctor informed about your medical conditions and other medications you are taking during this treatment.

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Angicept Syrup. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

Dizziness
Insomnia
Diplopia
Excess of glucose in the bloodstream
Severe allergic reactions
Continuing constipation
Rectal bleeding
Sudden weight gain
Unusual swelling

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take Angicept Syrup syrup as prescribed by your doctor.

Shake the syrup well before taking each dose so as to ensure the uniform mixing of the drug. Use a measuring cup while taking each dose.

If you miss a dose of Angicept Syrup, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
