KOOLHOP-GM Cream

Description

Clobetasol , Miconazole , Neomycin is a combination of three medicines: Clobetasol , Miconazole and Neomycin, which treats skin infections. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Miconazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Neomycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by the bacteria to carry out vital functions.

• CLOBETASOL PROPIONTE 0.05%
• NEOMYCIN SULPHATE 0.5%
• MICONAZOLE NITRATE 2.0%

How to use KOOLHOP-GM Cream

Apply the thin layer of cream all over the infected area twice daily. The layer of cream should be there so that adsorption occurs rapidly on the skin. The maximum dose of cream should not exceed 50 g/week. Do not follow the cream as it can cause toxicity and in case of a missed dose apply the thin layer of cream as soon as you remember.

Store at a temperature below 25o
Do not freeze
Keep out of the reach of children.

Guidelines

Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, mouth or any areas of broken skin.
Apply the precise amount as suggested by your physician.

Side effects

As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of miconazole nitrate clobetasol propionate neomycin sulfate cream. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use.

Common side effects include skin irritation, e.g. redness, rash, itching or burning. Rare but serious side effects may include: thinning of the skin, changes in skin pigmentation, stretch marks and groupings of fine blood vessels becoming prominent under the skin (telangiectasia), excessive hair growth (hypertrichosis).
