SAZIFLOX-RCD Oral Suspension

Description

Ofloxacin , Ornidazole , Racecadotril is a combination of three medicines: Ofloxacin , Ornidazole and Racecadotril which treat diarrhoea. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Ornidazole is also an antibiotic which kills the bacteria and other microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Racecadotril has an anti-secretory effect. It reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine which decreases fluid loss during diarrhoea.

• ORNIDAZOLE 125MG SUSP

How to use SAZIFLOX-RCD Oral Suspension

Shake the bottle well before each dose. Measure the dose out carefully with a medication spoon/cup. Take this medication by mouth with food, usually twice daily (every 12 hours), or as directed by your doctor. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. In children, the dosage is also based on weight.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Protect from light and moisture.

Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.

Side effects

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.

Tell the doctor right away if any of these rare but serious dark urine, persistent nausea/vomiting, severe stomach/abdominal pain, yellowing eyes/skin, easy bruising/bleeding, new signs of infection (such as fever, persistent sore throat), unusual tiredness.
