LIFOROZ Dry Syrup

Description

LIFOROZ is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of bacterial infections. LIFOROZ may be used alone or with other medications.

LIFOROZ is a cephalosporin antibiotic.

It is not known if LIFOROZ is safe and effective in children younger than 3 months of age.

How to use LIFOROZ Dry Syrup

Shake the bottle well before each dose. Measure the dose out carefully with a medication spoon/cup. Take this medication by mouth with food, usually twice daily (every 12 hours), or as directed by your doctor. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. In children, the dosage is also based on weight.

Guidelines

Keep out of the reach of children.

Protect from light and moisture.

Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.

Side effects

Along with its needed effects, cefuroxime may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur while taking cefuroxime:

Chills
diarrhea
fever
general feeling of illness or discomfort
headache
itching of the vagina or genital area
pain during sexual intercourse
rigidity
sweating
thick, white vaginal discharge with no odor or with a mild odor
